Thai dumplings in sweet coconut soup (ขนมปลากริมไข่เต่า)

This dessert is quite traditional and not easy to find (the authentic one) nowadays. However you can still find this dessert in a top supermarket in Bangkok.

Originally it represents a combination of two distinct portions, mixed together and can be enjoyed. The first was Pra-grim (ปลากริม) which represents the sweet portion, coming from one type of fish, and the shape of the dumpling should be 'fish like'. The second part represents turtle egg (ไข่เต่า) and it's salty and creamy. To assemble the dish, you need the 1-1 portion of each parts.
