Coconut milk custard with sweet grated coconut filling (ขนมสอดใส้)

Another Thai classic dessert, and was used in a wedding ceremony back in the old days, utilizing a few cooking technique from stir frying, mixing and steaming.

The sweet coconut filling was prepared first to incorporate aroma from grated coconut and palm sugar.

Then prepare the custard mix, banana leaf and steamer.
